Royal Caribbean International's newest cruise ship - the highly anticipated Oasis of the Seas arrived in her home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on November 13, following a 14-day transatlantic crossing from Turku, Finland where she was built.

The ship was named on November 30 and follows a 4-night "shakedown" cruise with her year-round weekly cruise schedule on December 5. Her winter itinerary is Fort Lauderdale; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Phillipsburg, St. Maarten; Nassau, Bahamas; Fort Lauderdale.
