Oasis of the SeasRoyal Caribbean International's newest cruise ship - the highly anticipated Oasis of the Seas arrived in her home port of Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale on November 13, following a 14-day transatlantic crossing from Turku, Finland where she was built.

The ship was named on November 30 and follows a 4-night "shakedown" cruise with her year-round weekly cruise schedule on December 5. Her winter itinerary is Fort Lauderdale; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Phillipsburg, St. Maarten; Nassau, Bahamas; Fort Lauderdale.

Oasis of the Seas is the largest and most revolutionary cruise ship in the world. An architectural marvel at sea, she spans 16 decks, encompasses 225,282 gross tons, carries 5,400 guests at double occupancy and features 2,700 staterooms.
