Viking River Cruises has added three new holiday season cruises - and two-for-one pricing - to its 2009 European offerings to meet anticipated seasonal demand. The itineraries feature the Rhine region, including Strasbourg and Prague in the Czech Republic. The eight-day "Christmas on the Rhine", aboard Viking Helvetia, begins and ends in Cologne, Germany, taking guests on six guided tours with Christmas markets in Cologne, Strasbourg, Baden-Baden and Mainz. "Danube & Prague Discovery" begins in Nuremberg and features a four-night cruise on Viking Sky through Germany's Bavarian region and a three-night stay in Prague.

Guests visit three of Germany's Christmas markets and have ample opportunity to enjoy a more Bohemian experience at Prague's Christmas market, as well as guided tours of Nuremberg, Regensburg, Passau and Prague. "Holiday in Rhineland" is a nine-day journey from Amsterdam to Cologne that will only happen once. Departing 22NOV09, guests sail on Viking Helvetia from Amsterdam to Cologne, then continue south as far as Mannheim for a visit to Heidelberg's castle and Christmas market, finally returning to Cologne.

Guests can shop five Christmas markets along the way: Cologne, Rudesheim, Heidelberg, Mainz and Koblenz. These cruises join Viking's two other holiday season offerings along the Danube. FLEXIBLE DINING WITH CELEBRITY

Celebrity Cruises has introduced Celebrity Select Dining, a new flexible dining option that allows passengers to choose when they dine in the main dining room, on a day-by-day basis, as well as the industry's first pre-cruise day-by-day flexible dining reservation system.

Celebrity guests can go online to choose their desired dining time - anytime between 6:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. - for each day of their cruise, up to four days prior to boarding. Reservations can also be made onboard.
