McTavish Missions Travel is a specialized department within our travel management company, McTavish Travel. Founded 32 years ago by Ross and Trish McTavish, this family owned and operated company is personally overseen by Ross and Trish. McTavish Missions Travel Airfares

In 1994, McTavish Travel opened the Missions Travel Department to assist missionaries and humanitarian workers with their travel abroad. In an effort to meet their very special needs, our Missions Department has negotiated exclusive missionary airfares with major international airlines worldwide. These non-published, significantly reduced rates are exclusive to bona fide charitable organizations and their affiliates - specifically vocational missionaries, priests, nuns, humanitarian disaster relief and non-salaried staff doing registered charity work (excluding government-funded projects).

Qualified travellers using these special fares are generally exempt from advance booking requirements, minimum stay restrictions and change penalties. One-way travel is permitted where applicable, and travel can originate from anywhere in the world.

This is meaningful because your organization can utilize our Missions Department to make travel arrangements for your entire team globally.

By calling collect worldwide or toll-free within North America , you will be connected immediately to a TESS VIP Gold 24/7 agent who has full computerized access to your airline file. When you call the private numbers that we provide on your itinerary or on the wallet size cards we supply to your organization, you will be identified as a McTavish Travel client. Feedback from our clients has revealed that TESS VIP Gold 24/7 is a convenient and essential service that they find invaluable.

Management Reports

We are able to capture your data and provide detailed Management Reports at no additional charge. These Management Reports are crucial for monitoring travel expenditures, preparing budgets and measuring savings against non-missionary airfares.

We offer customization to suit your requirements and allow you to determine the frequency and method by which the reports are delivered. Reports can be received by e-mail or hardcopy.

Documentation and Vaccination Advice

As a service to missionaries travelling overseas, McTavish Missions Travel consultants will provide information on passport and foreign entry visa requirements.

Further, our agents are also able to advise on vaccination requirements. However, we encourage every organization to seek the advice of their own local contacts pertaining to medical conditions in regional areas.
